This is just bad journalism. Here's what DHH wrote:

I'm a long time 1p user and wrote customer support earlier today. Here is their (no doubt canned, given how quickly it shot back) reply:

This is the same move as buying a Tesla and putting an anti-Elon sticker on it. The person is inseparable from the product. So they can claim "not an endorsement" all they like, but their actions say different. It's just so disappointing.
